I use my MR5 Multi Radiance laser every day on at least 75% of my current patient base. It’s the best overall therapeutic modality I’ve found in my 35 years of practice. I had overuse injury to my elbow, ‘tennis elbow.’ It had escalated to the point I had noticeable edema and complete loss of function. I was not able to work at all for months. I couldn’t really grab anything or do much.
I had gone to the Orthopedist who offered surgery and nothing else. I did shockwave, non-steroidal creams, and stem cell, and nothing was really getting my arm back to use.
A colleague of mine had mentioned laser. Wanting to look into lasers anyway, I reached out to the company I heard was the best and met Judy. We started treating my arm. I use the MultiRadiance MR5 ActivPRO LaserStim and have a PainAway rental program.
It’s another tool in my toolbox. I can adjust patients but doesn’t always get them out of the pain. A lot of people are on pills and different drugs, so if you can add another way for the body to heal itself better it just creates better patient management and better patient care.
Pain is a big reason people come to chiropractic. In fact most people come when they are in pain don’t come for wellness visits, although that would be great. People want to be out of pain and it does that. It takes the pain away.
RENTAL PROGRAM
I rent them out quite frequently for various reasons – people with arthritis, acute injuries, cuts or scrapes they want to heal faster. People definitely like having that to use. It helps with compliance.
My own horse ripped her face open and needed stitches but it was not addressed soon enough so we couldn’t do that. By using the laser – you can’t even tell she had an injury to her face at all.
My hands are doing great, moving beautifully, not all puffed up and it’s all due to that neat laser treatment you gave me.
